She stated that the incident happened at unit C at the provided address, a separate unit in the rear of the property. She stated that on Sunday she had seen a male hit a small puppy multiple times with a stick or piece of wood before going back into the house. She does not have any video evidence at this time and I directed her to get evidence if it happened again. I then proceeded to Unit C and attempted to make contact but got no answer. I did see the stick that the man allegedly beat the dog with and photographed it. I left a notice on the door to contact animal services regarding the complaint. I heard a small breed or puppy in the house barking when I attempted contact. //ROHDE M26-096213.
